Who processes it

  • Clerk handles sign-in and stores your email and login credentials.
  • Neon (Postgres) stores your profile, bag and ratings.
  • Vercel hosts the site and the API, and keeps request logs.
  • Google Analytics and Vercel Web Analytics measure site traffic.
  • Resend sends account and site emails. Kit holds the newsletter and waitlist lists if you joined them.
  • Expo provides the phone app's build and update service; the app sends your sign-in token only to nicothelefty.com.

Each of these processes data on our instructions under their own terms. None of them is given your data for their own marketing.

What we never do

  • Sell your data, or trade it for anything.
  • Give a brand your name, email, or individual rating. Brands may receive aggregated figures (for example, “the average Control score for this paddle among 4.0-plus players”) that cannot be traced to a person.
  • Email you marketing you did not sign up for. Account emails (sign-in codes, moderation notices) are not marketing.
  • Collect data from anyone under 13. If we learn an account belongs to someone under 13, we delete it.

Cookies

A session cookie from Clerk keeps you signed in. Analytics cookies from Google Analytics measure traffic. The affiliate links on the site may set cookies on the brand's store so the sale is credited; that is described on the disclosure page.

Your choices

  • Private profile: hides your bag and shows only your handle on ratings. Switch it in your profile settings.
  • Edit or delete a rating: any time, from the paddle page.
  • Export: email us and you will get your ratings and bag as a file within 14 days.
  • Delete your account: email nicothelefty@gmail.com from the address on the account. Your profile, bag, ratings and head-to-head answers are deleted within 14 days. Moderation logs that reference your content are kept for 12 months with your identity removed. Aggregate numbers are recalculated without you on the next update.

Where it lives
