Who this is between

Main Paddle is a section of nicothelefty.com, run by Nico Valencia (“Nico,” “we”), based in Nevada, USA. Creating an account means you accept these terms, the community guidelines, and the privacy policy. If you do not accept them, do not create an account; the paddle pages, reviews and scores are readable without one.

Who can join

• You must be 13 or older. You confirm this when you join.
• One account per person. You are responsible for what is posted from your account.
• During the closed beta an invite code is required. We can close the beta, change who is in it, or end it at any time.

Your content

Your ratings, scores, notes, bag, handle and profile details are yours. By posting them you give us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to show them on nicothelefty.com and the Main Paddle app, to include them in aggregate numbers such as the Player Score, and to quote them (with your handle) in our own content, for as long as they are posted. You can edit or delete a rating at any time, and deleting your account removes your ratings and bag from public view; aggregate numbers already computed may include your former rating until they are next recalculated.

You confirm that what you post is your own honest opinion, about a paddle you have played, and that you have disclosed any free product or payment connected to it.

You can say what you want

Nothing in these terms stops you from criticising a paddle, a brand, this site, or Nico, here or anywhere else. Ratings are removed only for the reasons in the guidelines, never for sentiment. This is consistent with the U.S. Consumer Review Fairness Act and it is also how we want it.

What we can do

• Hide or remove content that breaks the guidelines, and suspend or close accounts that repeatedly do.
• Change how scores are calculated. Every change is dated on the methodology page.
• Change or stop the service. If Main Paddle shuts down, you will get notice and a way to export your ratings.

Money

Accounts are free. The site earns commissions from affiliate links and discount codes, explained on the disclosure page. Brands do not pay for scores, placement, or the removal of ratings. We do not pay or reward members for ratings.

No warranty, limited liability

Scores and ratings are opinions. They are provided as is, without warranty of any kind. A paddle's score is not a promise about how it will play for you, and we are not liable for purchases made on the strength of it. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for anything connected to Main Paddle is limited to one hundred US dollars.

Trademarks

Paddle and brand names belong to their owners. Their appearance here means we rated them, not that they endorse us.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced on the site or by email to members at least 14 days before they take effect. Questions: nicothelefty@gmail.com. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, USA.
